Revenue stack guideUpdated July 13, 2026·9 min read

The revenue dashboard that rolls up every business you run.

Run several businesses, stores, or side projects? Ploxir rolls their revenue into one portfolio — total revenue and expenses across all of them, with per-business breakdown on tap. 50+ sources. Multi-currency safe. Real-time webhooks.

Section 01

Why one revenue dashboard.

The default for most businesses in 2026 is five different dashboards. Stripe for SaaS MRR. Shopify for e-commerce. Google Ads for spend. YouTube Studio for ad revenue. PayPal for one-time payments. Each tab shows a partial view of revenue, in its own currency, on its own update schedule.

That setup costs founders 30+ tab-switches per day and produces three predictable bugs: double-counting (the same customer purchase shows in Stripe AND PayPal), silent currency mixing (JPY + USD summed into one nonsense number), and stale snapshots (the GA4 dashboard says yesterday's number; Stripe says today's; nobody knows which one is right).

A single revenue dashboard fixes all three. One canonical revenue number. Multi-currency normalised. Webhook sources update in real time; the rest sync on a schedule and on demand. Ad spend on the same screen as revenue.

Section 02

The 5-layer revenue stack.

Every modern business earns money across some combination of these 5 layers. Most run at least 2; many run 4 or 5. A revenue dashboard's job is to unify them.

Section 04

Why multi-currency and real-time both matter.

Multi-currency safety

A subscription billed at ¥1,000/mo and a subscription billed at $10/mo are both ~$10 of MRR. Sum them by raw number and your MRR widget reports ¥1,010 — a meaningless integer.

Most dashboards do exactly this and ship nonsense KPIs. Ploxir detects the primary currency of each source by transaction volume, and an optional workspace reporting currency converts every number with daily FX rates. Without one, currencies are kept separate — never silently summed. Per-source breakdown shows the original currency on hover.

Real-time via webhooks

Daily polling means your dashboard is wrong for the first 24 hours of any change. A Stripe refund processed at 10 AM doesn't hit Tableau or Power BI until 2 AM the next morning.

Ploxir auto-registers webhooks with the platforms that allow it — Stripe, Shopify, Paddle, Lemon Squeezy, PayPal, Patreon, Twitch, Beehiiv, Zendesk, Datadog. A refund, a new subscription, a new order — reflected on the dashboard within 1–2 seconds. Poll-only sources sync on a schedule and on demand.

Section 06

Frequently asked questions.

What is a revenue dashboard?
A revenue dashboard is a single screen that displays revenue metrics from every source a business earns money on — SaaS subscriptions, e-commerce sales, ad revenue, creator income, payment processors. The best modern revenue dashboards update in real time via webhooks and handle multi-currency normalisation automatically.
How is a revenue dashboard different from a SaaS metrics dashboard?
SaaS metrics dashboards (ChartMogul, Baremetrics, ProfitWell) handle subscription billing only — MRR, ARR, churn, LTV. A revenue dashboard is broader: it includes one-time sales, ad revenue, creator income, and any non-subscription revenue alongside SaaS metrics. Ploxir does both in one workspace.
What revenue sources does Ploxir connect to?
SaaS billing: Stripe, Paddle, Chargebee, RevenueCat, Lemon Squeezy, Polar, Whop, Outseta, Memberful. E-commerce: Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon, Square, BigCommerce, Etsy, eBay, TikTok Shop, Wix, Gumroad. Ads: Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, Microsoft Ads, AdSense. Creator: YouTube, Twitch, Patreon, Beehiiv, Ghost, Kit. Payment processors: PayPal. Custom: webhooks, JSON polling, HTTP uptime monitors.
Is it real-time or batched?
Live where the platform supports it. Ploxir auto-registers webhooks for Stripe, Shopify, Paddle, Lemon Squeezy, PayPal, Patreon, Twitch, Beehiiv, Zendesk, and Datadog — a new payment, refund, or subscription change appears on your dashboard within seconds. Other sources sync on a schedule (every 6 hours for most, daily for AdSense), and the Refresh button syncs everything on demand.
Does it handle multi-currency safely?
Yes. Ploxir auto-detects the primary currency of each source by transaction volume and never silently sums JPY + USD + EUR into a single number. The dashboard shows totals in your primary currency with per-source breakdown on hover.
Can I see revenue dashboard examples?
Yes — there are 6 sample dashboards on this page (SaaS founder, e-commerce, creator, agency, multi-brand operator, marketplace). Each includes the specific widgets that revenue role typically wants.
Is there a free revenue dashboard?
Ploxir is free for 3 projects with full webhook support and all 50+ integrations. Most solo founders and creators never leave the free tier. Pro is $29/mo for 10 projects; Team is $79/mo for unlimited.
Can I track revenue across multiple businesses?
Yes. Each Ploxir project is one business. Your portfolio rolls up combined revenue across every project. A founder running 3 SaaS + a Shopify store sees combined revenue in one tile, with per-project breakdown.
